I like history.......

There's not much else to it. Just a history nerd who loves writing and sharing historical facts and stories. If you love history and want to learn something new, then this is the place for you.

I try to show people that history is not just blood, sweat, tears and capitalism; I want to show the world that history can also be entertaining and amusing as well as informative. I will be covering historical figures that inspired myths - such as Vlad the Impaler and Dracula, and Grutte Pier from 15th century Netherlands - as well as fantastic historical events, such as the absolute clusterfuck that was the Fourth Crusade to the weird and wonderful traditions of the Ancient Egyptians.

So if you want to amaze people at the party with your sheer volume of knowledge, then you should probably go somewhere else.

But if you want to be amazed and humanity's sheer brilliance and ingenuity, then you are really in the wrong place.
